Training activity in Udine!

The training activity of the UPNOWASTE project took place in Udine, Italy from the 7th to the 9th of October, 2025.

Over 3 days of activities, 14 participants from partner institutions met to try on different methodologies of upcycling with materials such as paper, textiles and plastic.

Two trainers from the hosting institution Università delle LiberEtà conducted 2 workshops to create puppets with recicled plastic bottles and textiles and to create paper flowers.

The Hungarian participants showed how to create small cups with just some recicled paper and vinylic glue.

It was a nice and constructive moment for participants to get ideas, methods and tips for the upcoming “Upcycling cafes” activities that wil ltake place in the partners’ local communities in the next months.
