About the project
UPNOWASTE is an Erasmus+ project focused on promoting waste reduction and advancing a circular economy through upcycling. It aims to empower citizens with the knowledge and skills to repurpose materials creatively, reducing waste and fostering sustainability. The project seeks to implement Upcycling Cafés, inspired by the Repair Café methodology, to encourage intergenerational learning and community engagement in upcycling practices.

Università delle LiberEtà del FVG - ETS (Italy)
A lifelong learning centre specialising in adult education and training. The organisation promotes environmental sustainability and lifelong learning through cultural and educational initiatives. It has experience in EU projects and provides training in recycling and upcycling.
Unofficial Media and Training Limited (Ireland)
A digital media training company that integrates sustainability education into media projects. It has developed digital repair cafés for older learners, supports youth-led upcycling projects, and engages in sustainable filmmaking training.
Itinéraires: Destination Europe (France)
A non-profit organisation promoting European citizenship and civic engagement. It works on environmental education, digital literacy, and sustainability awareness campaigns. The organisation has experience in running workshops on digital waste and recycling.
Giresun Lisesi (Turkey)
A public secondary school with experience in adult education through public education centres. The school actively promotes environmental awareness and runs upcycling and recycling workshops for students and parents, fostering sustainability in education.
